Hi, I’m Emily, a trauma-informed therapist passionate about helping people feel safe, seen, and supported as they heal. I specialize in working with people of all ages who have experienced trauma including chronic stress, loss, childhood wounds, complex PTSD, and emotional neglect. My approach is person-centered, meaning I see you as the expert in your own life—and I walk alongside you as a compassionate guide, not someone who’s here to “fix” you. Because, after all, therapy is not a place to be fixed… it’s a place to be found.
In our work together, I’ll create a space where all parts of you are welcome—your pain, your resilience, your questions, and your hopes. Using a blend of evidence-based practices like TF-CBT, EMDR, somatic work, and inner child healing, I help clients gently reconnect with their sense of self, process painful memories, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
Healing from trauma isn’t about forgetting—it’s about integrating your story in a way that allows you to move forward with clarity and strength. Whether you’re just starting your healing journey or have been in therapy before, I’d be honored to support you.
Let’s connect when you’re ready. You don’t have to do this alone.

Hi! I'm Emily, and I'm passionate about helping clients navigate life's ups and downs. I know from personal experience that navigating life's challenges, whether it's trauma or grief, or everyday stress can be overwhelming. That's why I create a safe, supportive space where my clients feel heard, valued and empowered. I earned my bachelor degree in psychology with a minor in Health Promotion from Michigan State University (MSU) in 2018. I went on to complete my master's in social work at MSU. In my work with children, adolescents and families, I've supported those navigating grief, trauma, anxiety and depression. I've also supported people with the unique challenges of neurodivergence. I have a neurodiversity-affirming approach. I am an advocate of honoring each person's individual strengths and needs and believe in celebrating the unique way our brain's work. My journey, both personally and professionally, has deepened my commitment to helping others heal, grow and thrive. At my core, I value family, friendship, creativity, compassion and integrity. When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling and dreaming about all the places I still want to see. Music is a big part of my life. I enjoy going to concerts, singing and dancing whenever I get the chance. I also spend plenty of time with my "dog niece" as well as my five human nieces and nephews! And if you ever wonder what my favorite color is, it's always been pink! Therapy should feel comfortable and relatable. I am easy to talk to and I aim to make the process as easy for you as possible. Healing takes time but you don't have to do it alone _ I'm here to help. My ideal clients are ages 5-18+. I provide REMOTE therapy in Michigan to individuals
and families. I specialize in depression, anxiety, neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, ect.), grief and trauma. I offer some evening and weekend appointments to best serve you!
*Emily offers primarily remote therapy. She offers some in-person appointments on Saturdays in Davison!
She offers late afternoon/evening online appointments. Emily accepts BCBS, Priority Health, McLaren Health Plan, Aetna, Cigna, Medicaid, McLaren Medicaid/MIChild and Private Pay clients.
Hi, I’m Terrence. For over a decade, I’ve worked alongside people navigating some of life’s most difficult experiences—supporting those facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, ADHD, behavioral challenges, and thoughts of self-harm. My goal? To walk with you through pain and toward healing, always with compassion, respect, and hope.
I specialize in trauma-focused therapy, utilizing evidence-based tools such as motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and client-centered techniques such as empathy, active listening, and unconditional positive regard. My goal is to help you build resilience and make progress at your own pace. My approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental—I listen deeply, reflect on what matters, and help you stay grounded in the present while gently addressing the past.
I believe in your capacity to grow into the strongest version of yourself through hard work, self-acceptance, and encouragement. Whether you're starting therapy for the first time or returning to it, I’d be honored to support you on your journey.
Let’s take that next step—together.

It was never her plan to leave the group practice she worked for but the demand for services increased, and she no longer needed referrals from that group practice. Referral sources in the community and previous clients who had been happy with services they received often referred directly to her. Due to the success of her practice and the demand for services, Vicky made the decision to venture out into a solo practice in Davison, Michigan.
She turned her solo practice into a group practice in 2024 because the demand for services was great. Telling prospective new clients that she could not make an appointment for them when they called because her schedule was full was really hard. It seemed like everyone needed appointments after 4:00pm or on weekends. There wasn't enough time in the day for her to meet the needs of everyone who requested help. In 2024, she made the decision to launch her group practice starting in 2025 and has been fortunate to be able to bring on some exceptional therapists who are committed to helping meet the mental health needs of our community. Vicky enjoys providing career opportunities to other professionals. It is her goal to provide clinicians with a very long, rewarding career. Vicky strives to create a supportive practice where therapists can learn from one another and feel the support from their "work family." Being able to form lifelong friendships with like-minded individuals can prevent burnout and help us bring our best selves to our clients and our own families.
Vicky provides training, consultation and clinical supervision to her staff. She is passionate about offering quality supervision for professionals. We believe in open communication, collaboration and teamwork. Ideal candidates will add to the culture and climate of the practice by bringing a positive mindset, a willingness to grow and learn and the ability to effectively communicate with one another. If you are willing to work some evenings/weekends, have some experience in the mental health field and want to work at a practice that values you and is committed to helping professionals grow in their skills, consider emailing us your resume and cover letter.
