Counseling Services
Best Life Therapy offers both online therapy and in-person sessions to any Michigan resident. Clients love the convenience of staying home! Clients are sent a link via text/email 24 hours before the appointment. To access a session, just click on the link at your appointment time. If you prefer in-person, we have two locations, 1063 South State Rd., Suite 8A in Davison. The office is located in a shared suite in the Applewood Plaza. Our new Flint Township location is in the Oak Creek Office Park at 2413 S. Linden Rd., Suite C in Flint. We are planning to add another location and are in the process of hiring more therapists! - Include type of insurance and your member ID and group number.
- Next, we will send you a link to set up your secure client portal.
- Accept the invitation to set up the client portal.
- Upload a copy of the front and back of your insurance card and add a credit card to the file. No charges are applied until after the appointment. The card is needed to cover copays, deductibles and no-show/late cancellation fees. Exception: Medicaid clients are not charged those fees, but a client's case could be closed if they miss 3 appointments. Clients who are committed to therapy tend to make more progress.
INSURANCES WE ACCEPT - MOST MAJOR INSURANCES
We accept most major insurances including: BCBS, Priority Health, Medicare, McLaren Health Plan, Aetna, Cigna/Evernorth, ASR Health Benefits, Straight Medicaid, Molina, Blue Cross Complete, McLaren Medicaid-MiChild- HAP PPO - we need pre-authorization from HAP HMO and Meridian but are happy to work with them to obtain that approval.
All of our therapists accept Private Pay clients. The rate is $150 for an intake and $130 for each remaining session. We accept most major credit cards and HSAs. If you have out-of-network insurance benefits, we can bill as an out-of-network provider. We also can supply you with a Superbill to submit to insurance for possible reimbursement.
We are in the process of getting credentialed with several additional insurance plans. If you don't see your insurance listed or if you have a high deductible, reach out, we may be able to help.
To obtain an estimate for the cost of therapy, we recommend contacting your insurance company. They can tell you how much of your deductible has been met and are able to explain your copays/co-insurance to you. When using insurance, each company determines how much we charge. They are aware of the contracted rate and can provide an accurate estimate for you.
